Leymusoom church was located in the Wurster hall, home to Berkeley's architecture department, but the art department also shared the first floor of the building. Heesoo’s studio was at the end of the hallway on the first floor, just past the ceramic studio.
For a year, this location functioned as an open space for the Leymusoom community where they hung out, worked, had gatherings together, etc. Every Sunday morning at 11 there was a Leymusoom meeting and the believers gathered together in the church. They talked about their traumas, desires, experiences, and dreams, about sexuality, gender, patriarchy and feminism. This was the first space ever 3d scanned in our host’s Leymusoom.
